4. Nature of the Platform

RentalMe is a digital marketplace platform, published in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode, connecting owners, agencies and rental professionals (vehicles, real estate, equipment and services) with renters. STE UNZIPTECH SARL acts exclusively as a technical service provider and intermediary; it is not a party to the rental contracts concluded between users, which are governed by the Terms and Conditions of Use accessible on the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All the elements making up the RentalMe platform – in particular its structure, source codes, interfaces, designs, graphics, logos, texts, images, databases and features – are protected by Law No. 2-00 on copyright and related rights and by Law No. 17-97 on the protection of industrial property, as amended and supplemented, and remain the exclusive intellectual property of STE UNZIPTECH SARL or are subject to usage authorizations granted to it.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, adaptation, extraction or exploitation, in whole or in part, of the platform or of any of its elements, by any process whatsoever and on any medium whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of STE UNZIPTECH SARL, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by the civil and criminal sanctions provided for by the aforementioned laws.

The “RentalMe” brand, the related logos and distinctive signs are protected. Their use without prior written authorization is prohibited.

6. Personal Data

The processing of personal data carried out via the RentalMe platform is performed in accordance with Law No. 09-08 and its implementing decree No. 2-09-165, under the supervision of the National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP).

This processing has been the subject of the required prior formalities with the CNDP (declaration receipt / authorization No. ……………)

Any data subject has a right of access, rectification and objection, under the conditions provided for in Articles 7 to 9 of Law No. 09-08, which they may exercise by writing to [email protected]. The complete processing terms are described in the Privacy Policy accessible on the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

STE UNZIPTECH SARL strives to ensure that the information published on the platform is accurate and up to date, the content of which it reserves the right to modify at any time and without notice. However, it cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy or timeliness of the published information, in particular that provided by users and partners in their listings, for which the latter remain solely responsible.

STE UNZIPTECH SARL declines all liability for any damage, direct or indirect, resulting from access to the platform, its use or its temporary unavailability, in particular in the event of maintenance operations, technical incidents or force majeure within the meaning of Articles 268 and 269 of the Dahir forming the Code of Obligations and Contracts.

8. Hyperlinks

The platform may contain links to third-party sites. STE UNZIPTECH SARL exercises no control over these sites and declines all liability for their content, availability or personal data practices. The creation of any hyperlink pointing to the platform is subject to the prior written authorization of STE UNZIPTECH SARL.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to its interpretation or execution shall, in the absence of an amicable settlement, be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Fez (Morocco), subject to the mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers.
